These times have been set up for the convenience of parents and guardians. Although it is our desire that the students register at their "home" school; if the family has a conflict on that particular day, they may register for their "home" school at one of the other locations.
It is important that all eligible children be registered during the spring session since these numbers are used to determine class sizes and number of classes needed for the fall term.
Registering your child now will insure that they will attend at their "home" school.
A child being registered for kindergarten must have reached his or her fifth birthday on or before August 31st. A child being registered for First Grade must reach his or her sixth birthday on or before August 31st. A birth certificate or other valid proof of age must be presented at the registration to verify this date. Immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, polio, measles, mumps and rubella, Hepatitis B and Varicella is required by law. Parent(s)/guardian are to accompany each child being registered. It is recommended that only those children being registered be brought to school. Each child will be given speech and hearing screenings and identified problems will be discussed with parents.
The kindergarten teacher(s) and the school counselor will be available to discuss any questions or concerns you may have concerning your child's new school experience.
A "Parent and Student Orientation Session" will be held at each school in late August.
