BUY VARSITY FOOTBALL SEASON PASSES NOW

 2010 Fall Season Football Passes are now available to purchase for all Bison home varsity football games sponsored by the Clearfield Area School District.  Prices are $5.00/students and $10.00/adults .    Ticket prices at the gate will be $2.00 for students and $3.00 for adults.  FALL SEASON PASSES WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE GATE!  2010 Fall Season Passes are not valid unless signed. Passes may be purchased at the Clearfield High School Athletic Office.   FMI call the Athletic Office at 765-2401, Ext. 2161.

Dear Parent or Guardian,
We are extremely pleased that your son/daughter has chosen to participate in the interscholastic athletic program of the Clearfield Area School District.  A goal of the CASD Athletic Department is to provide our student athletes with the best environment in which their extracurricular experiences may be as rewarding as possible.  We believe that this goal may not be realized without appropriate lines of communication available to all parties involved.  This CASD ATHLETIC COMMUNICATION GUIDE has been created to assist coaches, parents, administrators and student athletes to communicate more effectively.

4th Annual ASTHMA SPORTS CAMP: Sept. 25, 2010

 Fourth Annual ASTHMA SPORTS CAMP - FREE EVENT For Students 
September 25, 2010 --  9:00 AM to 3:00 PM At Saint Francis University, Loretto, PA

Hosted by the DiSepio Institute for Rural Health and Wellness at Saint Francis University.
 Basketball and Soccer along with asthma education!  Basketball or soccer instruction from SFU men's and women's Red Flash varsity teams; General health screenings; Prizes and giveaways; Lunch with SFU athletes; Bring a friend! The camp is designed to better educate children and their parents about how to more effectively manage the disease while still enjoying an active lifestyle.  In addition to some fun physical activity, campers and their parents take part in an interactive "Ask the Doctor" session with asthma-allergy specialists, exploring topics such as new medications and treatments.

DIRECTIONS TO CLEARFIELD HS/BISON SPORTS COMPLEX
FROM I-80, Exit 120 take Rt. 879W (toward Curwensville) approx. 4 miles to Hyde traffic light, proceed across Hyde bridge, continue thru village of Hyde for 1.8 miles, right turn onto Clearfield HS driveway, "Visitor" parking in front of bldg.

 FROM RT. 322E (State College) go past Long John Silvers, immediate right after overpass onto Rt. 879W (toward Curwensville) approx. 4 miles to Hyde traffic light, proceed across Hyde bridge, continue thru village of Hyde for 1.8 miles, right turn onto Clearfield HS driveway, "Visitor" parking in front of bldg.

 FROM RT. 322W (Rockton) stay on Rt. 322 to Rt. 879W or can turn right immediately upon crossing Nichols St. bridge, follow river thru town approx. 2 miles to Hyde bridge, turn right at bridge, proceed thru village of Hyde 1.8 m. to HS driveway.

 FROM RT. 879 CURWENSVILLE - turn left at "Hyde" sign following PA-1001, go under railroad bridge toward Hyde, HS driveway is ahead on left.

FALL 2010 BISON SPORTS PHYSICALS

Following is the schedule for fall sports physicals to be held in the Clearfield Area High School Health Suite.  The cost is $15.00 .   If athletes are not able arrive on their scheduled day, they should contact Mrs. Hinchliffe at 765-2401 ext. 2116.  Also, each athlete should have the PIAA  Section 3: HEALTH HISTORY form filled out prior to their physical.
