Middle School Life Skills |
Hello! My name is Mary Beth Rancik and I teach Life Skills here at Clearfield Middle School. This is my third year as a teacher and I am currently working towards my Master of Education Degree in Reading. My assistant, Bev, and I have created a friendly classroom environment where students are learning functional skills necessary to be successful members of society. A big part of our learning experiences come from community-based instruction (CBI). We go on shopping trips, work at the local food bank, and visit various sites around the community to help us learn. Check out the classroom calendar to see when and where we will be going on our CBI field trips. I am excited about the 2010-2011 school year and the new ideas I am hoping to bring to our classroom.
