We had elementary students that went to Quiet Creek this past week, they learned about and tried editable plants, old fashioned farm games, went on a nature hike, and learned to make their own healthy smoothies that included fruits and vegetables. They also sorted out garbage and learned what things worms can consume, what we can recycle, and what goes in a land fill! It was sponsored by Clearfield Jefferson Drug and Alcohol Commission which highlighted gambling prevention techniques and tips.
