The Jr. High Readers Theater Club recorded three plays on Monday – to view them, search ‘Clearfield School District’ on YouTube.  Eighth graders performed “Goldilocks and the Christmas Elves,” a humorous story including multiple fairy-tale characters, and “The Christmas Truce,” based on actual events of Christmas 1914, (check out Abby Simcox’s British accent!); and seventh graders performed “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”  The kids worked hard rehearsing these and had a great time!  Special thanks go to the Clearfield County Historical Society for the loan of authentic WWI uniform items, and to several Sr. High students for assisting the club with coaching and management during Activity Period rehearsals – Katy Smith, Emmalee Marshall, Jace Kephart, Remy Shugarts, and Ryan Lazauskas.
