There are many regional, state and national scholarships available for students. A comprehensive list is maintained in the guidance office and students, especially seniors, are encouraged to check in at least weekly for new scholarship opportunities.
Each January, a packet of local scholarships is provided to the senior class. Students are encouraged to apply for every scholarship they are eligible for. The packet is handed out in senior English class after Christmas break.
Below are some websites and resources for students to utilize in search of scholarships. The RAISE ME scholarship is open to all students in grades 9-12 and students are encouraged to check out this exciting funding source. www.raise.me.
Outside scholarships are available through Private Companies, parent employers, non profit organizations and local church and community based organizations. Many local organizations are represented in the local scholarship packet- but some may not be.
