Students from Mrs. Borden’s Public Speaking classes aren’t too old to celebrate the love of reading or Dr. Seuss’ birthday March 2nd. This past week students celebrated Read Across America week by delivering speeches about their favorite children’s book. Each student was asked to prepare a speech that describes a favorite book from their childhood and discuss the significance it had on their lives. As an extra way to celebrate, students were allowed to bring in themed snacks to match their book and share with the class.
