Clearfield Area Jr-Sr High School

One Spanish II class chose to compete in a foods contest in either a drinks or sandwich/snack category. Students researched drink recipes of Hispanic origin or put their own twist on a sandwich idea, like a torta, empanada, arepa, or quesadilla recipe. The class used vocabulary phrases and a rating scale to score participants. Claudia Bailey won the drink category with a blueberry-based fruit water.
